Photos - 2001This is the year when I tore an upper leg muscle around mile seven. I was running along and all of a sudden I felt a snap in my upper leg. I immediately pulled up lame and tried to walk for a while. I was able to finish the race, but I had to walk a good portion of the last three miles. The participants shown below include Linda, Laura, Patti, Cheryl Striegel and Phil.
Photos - 2002This race took place about three months after I had abdominal surgery. I managed to recover well enough to run/walk it (slowly). We walked to the starting line, used the port-o-pots, and waited for the starting gun when all of a sudden we realized the race had already started! The participants shown below include Reid, Laura, Patti, and Phil.
