Hilly Hundred Weekend Bicycle Tour - Bloomington, IN October 16 - 17, 1999
Our Experience In 1999, the year Reid and I started cycling, we selected this ride for our first significant tour. Several of our friends also participated including Patti, Phil, Brian, Pat, and Mark. Reid, Patti, and I stayed at a Bed & Breakfast called the 1875 Homestead where the owners made special arrangements to have breakfast ready early each morning. Brian, Pat, Mark, and Phil all stayed at a different hotel in Nashville, IN. Pat and Brian rode the entire 50/50 option, while the rest of us opted for lower-mileage routes. Phil, Reid and I rode the event together.

SaturdayOn Saturday, the weather was perfect and we rode the full 50 miles (except for the couple of hills that Reid and I walked).
SundayOn Sunday, due to some aches and pains and the threat of rain, we ditched our original plans and chose the 30-mile route.
