Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks - California

As stated by the national park service, "These parks are home to giants: immense mountains, deep canyons, and huge trees."  The elevation range varies from 1,500' to 14,491' so the habitats are diverse. Although created at different times, these two parks share miles of boundaries and are managed as one park.
